In the past, I’ve had my makeup done at least a dozen times and always felt over done or uncomfortable in person. Needless to say, I went into my wedding makeup trial a little anxious. Ashely made it her mission to understand what I envisioned and felt comfortable with. I immediately knew I was in good hands. She continued to ask questions while applying makeup and made sure I loved what was happening every step of the way. When she was finished and I got to look in the mirror- my make up was how I always dreamed it would be on my wedding day! It could not have been more perfect. The makeup lasted all day and night, even in humid St. John weather. Not only is Ashley a talented makeup artist, but she is also one of the sweetest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. He loved it SOOOO much! Ashley was wonderful – from our first phone call to the multiple times she came to my house to get the perfect look. She is incredibly sweet and talented. I was a 51 year old bride so I have a higher than average number of issues to correct to be a blushing bride. Ashley always made me feel so beautiful and then put her talents to work. I couldn’t believe that stunning person in the mirror was me! Moreover, my sister, niece and husband’s daughters all were thrilled with the magic of Ashley and my niece has now told me she’s found the person who will do her hair and makeup! She couldn’t stop staring at the intricate messy low bun look. My hair is short-ish and she created the most beautiful waves that made me look so different and, as my husband said at the altar, a Queen. Ashley listens and wants input because it is her goal to make you look and feel like that queen – within the bounds of what you are comfortable with.
