What’s the booking process like?
First step is getting to know you by filling out contact me, so we can learn specifics about your wedding.
When should you schedule a trial?
Trial should be scheduled ideally when you have your dress and veil. We draw Inspiration from the dress to create perfect wedding look. We take pictures and detailed notes. Some of our brides book a year in advance to secure there dates.
Are trials necessary?
Trials are required to secure booking, a $100 retainer (which then goes towards your trial) is required to place a soft hold on your wedding date until the trial is completed.
Does a trial guaranteed secured wedding date?
Once trial is completed we place a soft hold of 48 hrs. If the bride wants to move forward with our services a signed contract and 50% of deposit is required. We cannot hold a date without a signed contract and retainer. Once we reserve your date we turn down out any other inquiries.
How are payments broken down?
At signed contract 50% of of total services are due. One week prior to the wedding, remaining balance is due.
How should I prepare for trial?
Wearing a nice white top or a white dress in the trial helps you capture the essence of your wedding day. Having your veil or any other hair accessory on hand. We can incorporate them in your chosen wedding style.
How long will the trial take hair and make up trial?
Trials are scheduled for three hours.
How long does each service take?
We book 1 hour for bridal hair and 1 hour for bridal makeup. We schedule 45 minutes for bridal party and 45 minutes a bridal party makeup.
What do we do after we book you?
Relax and week of wedding we will work on a timely itinerary for your wedding day services.
Do you work outside of New York and New England?
We love to do destination weddings. We have glammed up brides in the Caribbean namely St. John Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico even in Florida. We have special pricing for:
- Milan, Italy
- Lugano, Switzerland
- Paris, France
- Puerto Rico
- US and British Virgin Islands
- Naples and Orlando Florida
I have an early morning wedding, are there any fees?
Early call fee (start time before 7am): $100
What are your travel rates?
- Travel fee is $1 a mile roundtrip calculated from 06492 CT to 11385 NY
- If the venue/get ready location is more than 2 hours from locations stated above hotel accommodations will be required in the same hotel as the bride or within a 5 mile radius to avoid any delays.
- Parking Fees Are Required For Downtown Hotel/ Venue Bookings. Any tolls/parking fees are applicable.
What type of Make up and Hair products do you use?
Cinema secrets, Eve pearl, Face Atelier, Sigma, Morphe, Tarte, It Cosmetics, Ardell, Urban Decay, Too faced, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Beauty blender, Kendra and Paul Mitchell to name a few.
Do you offer airbrush?
Yes we do and we use Face Atelier and Dinair products.
What's inluded in South Asian/Bollywood Bridal?
Placement Of Hair/facial accessories, applying hairpieces, dupatta setting, assisting outfit wardrobe, and jewellery placement.
I have a large wedding party, do you bring Assistants?
Assistants are provided for over 6 services. Ex (12 services 2 assistants). If there is a time crunch and the schedule needs to be moved up there will be an assistant fee of $100 for every assistant brought on.
Do you stay for touchups or style change?
After last person is touched up. It’s $125 per hour minimum two hours.
Are deposits refundable?
We do not refund deposits nor are the deposits transferable anyway.
Am I supposed to tip?
Tip is never expected but always appreciated. Customary tip amount is between 20%-30% of the total services.
Are there additional fees?
Rates do not include parking and tolls.
